Dragon/Lion Dance
Dragon dances are well known in Vietnam for their beautiful decorations, but also because of their ancient style of dancing.This Dance mimics a lion or dragon which in China resembles Power and domination.They are mostly also decorated in gold and red which are China's lucky colours. They also mean Luck and good fortune and as the old saying still is there,
'Fortune knocks on every mans door'.

Fan dance
In the Fan dance, majestic dancers, as the name suggests, dance with one or more multiple fans.This Dance is normally carried out with 4 to 5 dancers.The aim of the dance is to entertain while also mimic flowers riding on the breeze,thus this dance in traditional times,was performed in meadows.It is also widespread not just in Vietnam,but also spreading to Korea, China and even in some cases Mongolia.

The Lantern dance is a dance entirely performed with lanterns and sometimes with a religious god or statue in the middle.Thousands of children come to watch as it is held on the New years festival, celebrating the joyful start of a new year.After the dance, the performers let go of their lanterns which drift off into the air where fireworks and balloons combine them to create a splendid scenery.

The Hat dance is a dance performed with various swift movements holding a hat.These hats are usually made of bamboo to remember the hard years in farmyards harvesting crops and goodies.Acts like twirling the hat around and exchanging hats were common on the decorated stage.They would often gather volunteers to try the dance themselves, as a truly finishing performance.
